Congratulations to our Newest P.Eng

SNP would like to extend our congratulations to Mussayab Ehtesham, Mechanical Engineer, on his successfully application for his P.Eng designation from the Professional Engineers of Ontario. Mussayab has been employed by SNP for 3 years, and over that time has worked on several major projects for our industrial clients, including a steam to natural gas conversion on several air supply units, new equipment for waste water treatment plant solids dewatering, and a weld water system energy study. In the future, Mussayab is looking forward to leading more projects for SNP, as well as acting as a mentor for our junior engineers.

Supporting Science without Borders

SNP Technical Services Inc. has been working alongside the University of Windsor in support of the Science without Borders (SwB) program. This program offers a scholarship to some of Brazil's brightest students. From September to December of this year SNP will be hosting a Brazilian student. This semester we are pleased to introduce Vanessa Oliveira. She is an Electrical Engineering student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Windsor. She will be working in our Research and Development department assisting our Cost Deployment specialist Amandeep Dhillon.

ACI Recognition for Tito Marzotto

SNP's Executive Consultant, Tito R. Marzotto PE, P.Eng, (photo) was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the American Concrete Institute in recognition of 50 years of membership. The recognition was announced at ACI's Spring Meeting in Reno, NV on March 23, 2014. Mr. Marzotto has participated in ACI activities over the years including membership in technical committees and contributing articles for the ACI Journal.

SNP has a Successful Day at the 2014 Windsor Save-on-Energy Show and Symposium

On June 17th, 2014, SNP Technical Services participated as an exhibitor in the Save-On-Energy Show and Symposium at the Giovanni Caboto Club in Windsor. We would like to thank everyone who attended the show, as well as EnWin, Essex Powerlines, Entegrus, Hydro One, and all of the other exhibitors for their efforts to make this event one not to be missed. Philippine Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Relief

SNP has made a donation, on behalf of our Ontario and Michigan offices, to the Philippine Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Relief effort via Global Medic, a relief organization chosen by the Filipino Community Centre of Windsor, Ontario. The Government of Canada’s Ministry of International Development matched donations dollar for dollar. This is an important relief effort and we applaud the government’s role in assisting the millions of people affected by this tragic occurrence. SNP sends our deepest condolences to the survivors of the typhoon in the Philippines who have lost family and friends as well as their homes.

SNP is Excited to Announce Their First On-Staff Certified Energy Manager

SNP Technical Services is excited to announce that Joshua Lewis, EIT, has successfully completed his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation, as offered by the Association of Energy Engineers (http://www.aeecenter.org/).  Joshua is the first employee of SNP to receive this internationally respected designation.

Established in 1981, the CEM designation provides a recognizable affirmation of demonstrated competencies in a wide range of energy-related principles and practices.  Professionals seeking the CEM designation must meet a board-approved list of pre-qualifications of field experience, prior educational achievements, and a passing CEM exam score.

SNP Establishes Presence in GTA

Santiago N. Pablo, President and CEO of SNP Technical Services, Inc., announced today the creation of a physical presence in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to better serve SNP’s customers. In addition, SNP has been registered with the Peel Region as a consulting engineering supplier and Mr. John Di Pelino has been named District Manager.
